Ah, so I actually reached my second post about Nano. For a moment, I wasn’t sure I would.
The problem I’ve been having is that I’m just writing? Like, I don’t mean I’m spending all my time writing. Though, certainly a fair chunk of my days. But I mean I’ve still got no outline or plan. I have some ideas I’d like to see happen later on but nothing solid. So even if I was someone who could write out of order, I wouldn’t be able to do.
I’m just getting on my laptop, checking what I last wrote. And once Write or Die is open I just type and see what happens.
It’s a lot of fun but it’s also not something I’ve done so regularly in such a long while which is such a shame. I mean, I haven’t even really been rping so my brain is just kind of flaking out at times and I’m having some days where I’m not writing as much. But it’s okay. I’m on target. As I write this I’ve got just under 20k written. Which is a lot. I’ll have written a good bit more by the time this post goes up though, or at least I hope so, ha!
I’m still not sure where the story is really going. I’m letting the characters tell me and reveal themselves. One of the characters, Benjamin, likes to think he’s so smooth but he skeeves me out. And there’s a bartender called Alex who has been helping out who is definitely one of my faves. They’re sassy and I love them.
I’m debating posting previews of bits. Maybe in my next catch up post or on Twitter? Let me know if you’d like me to.

I know this isn’t much of a post. Honestly, I thought I’d have way more stuff by now. Not words necessarily but documents filled with world building info and a playlist and lots of things.
And I don’t. I’m seriously just winging it so this is probably gonna take a major rewrite when it’s finished but that’s okay because I’ll still have learned from it.
