Top Ten Tuesday – Favourite Ensemble Stars Songs (Non-Bookish Freebie)

Ahhh Top Ten Tuesday is always a favourite, and this week we have a non-bookish freebie. Since my blog is likely going to become a lot of reviewers one after the other for the next couple of weeks, I decided to take advantage of this. I’ve talked a lot about Ensemble Stars, I’ve even recommended a few songs.

So I decided to post a top ten list of all my favourites. And no, this wasn’t easy!

The Top Ten Tuesday tag was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now held over on The Artsy Reader Girl. It’s a weekly tag where everyone is given a bookish prompt for bloggers to curate a top ten list. You can then share your blog post on The Artsy Reader Girl’s post for that week. Just make sure you check out and comment on other people’s blog posts too!

Usually, I don’t do these lists in any particular order, but this time, I think I have to!

So what I’m going to do is I’m just going to list 10 to 5, and then for the top five, I’ll go into a little more detail of why I like them so much.

All songs will also be linked to on YT, so go ahead and give them a listen.

Honestly, the Ra*bits song probably could be replaced with something else, as I’m not a big fan of them. But it’s such a fun song that gets stuck in my head regularly.

Going into the top five, we’re now getting into where my favourite group dominates, but they aren’t the only unit in it!

5. Kiss of Life – Alkaloid

When I first heard this song, I liked it, but it wasn’t my favourite Alkaloid song. But the more I’ve listened to it, the more it’s grown on me. The English in the chorus is just such a mood lyrically. It makes for a great song with some pop-rock vibes, and I adore it.

4. Silent Oath – Knights

If I’m having an emotional moment, you’ll probably catch me listening to this song. It’s just such a good song. A ballad but not with some really emotional lyrics. We know these lyrics could have been talking about Leo leaving them, and it just makes them all the more powerful. I adore this song so much.

3. Knockin Fantasy – Switch

Honestly, don’t ask me why I love this song so much. I just do. I listen to it so often, and the chorus is damn catchy. If I want a fun song to just dance around to, this is often one I go to. Plus, I managed to perfect combo this in the game recently, so that has made me love it a little more. Honestly, there’s not much to say about why I love it; it’s just a song I have a great time with.

2. Little Romance – Knights

I could go on about this song for hours, and I’m so excited it’ll be on the English server soon. This song ranked number one in an official Japanese ranking a few years ago, and with good reason. It’s a fun song with fairytale-like lyrics, and the members of Knights’ voices really get to shine. The dancing with swords is a little silly, but it’s okay, as it’s the voice actors’ live performance of this song that owns my heart. I’d share a link if I could. This song is catchy and sweet and just had to be in my top three.

.1. Fight for Judge – Knights

Way back when I was first interested in Enstars before there was even a rhythm game, I picked Knights to be my favourites solely because of Izumi’s design. But when I was looking into it, not very deeply, admittedly, I discovered that there was music! I obviously listened to all the Knights tracks I could find, and Fight for Judge fast became my favourite. Now years have passed, I listen to them a lot more regularly, and it’s still my favourite song by far. I kind of want to learn the dance, but I’m not great at picking up choreo. This song is damn catchy, and I’ve even learned some of the lyrics and regularly find myself singing them. It’s just such a fun song, and the first one I suggest when I get people to try to listen to them.

So that’s it for this non-bookish list. I hope you guys give some of these songs a listen. If you do, let me know what you think in the comments below.
