Book Review: Wait For Me by Sara Shepard

Book Review: Wait For Me by Sara Shepard

Though I wouldn’t say Sara Shepard is the best author, I’ve definitely read and enjoyed a few of her books. They can be a little ridiculous, but they’re generally easy reads. Wait For Me is a different type of story for Shepard. It is a reincarnation story, so I was definitely intrigued.
Thank you to Union Square and Co for allowing me to read this early through NetGalley. This was a quick read and the perfect break with all the fantasy I’ve been reading recently.

Casey Rhodes has many disguises, but as a 17-year-old sophomore in college and girlfriend of a highly eligible bachelor? She has to. So when she starts hearing voices, she runs to the seaside town of Avon, hoping to rest and reset without worrying anyone. But as the voices get worse, she starts to think she recognises people there, including Jake. They’ve never met before, but she swears there’s a connection, and he thinks so too. Casey and Jake decide to look into her memories together and to find out whose memories she actually has.

Blog Tour: With Fire In Their Blood by Kat Delacorte

Blog Tour: With Fire In Their Blood by Kat Delacorte

I’m back with another blog tour review! This time it’s for With Fire In Their Blood by Kat Delacorte through Write Reads Tours. I was hoping to get a copy of this at YALC but didn’t, so I was so happy to be able to get on this tour. It was a book I didn’t know what to expect, but if you’re looking for a book with 2000’s YA paranormal vibes but queer? You’ve got that here.

With Fire In Their Blood is set in the Italian city of Castello, where rival mafia clans divide the city and only come together to fight the Saints. People with magic. When Lilly arrives, she’s drawn to Liza, Nico and Christian in equal measure. But Lilly isn’t sure she can trust anyone. Especially not sure when she shows signs of being more than human.

FaRoFeb – A Mini TBR

FaRoFeb – A Mini TBR

Over the last month, my review for King of Battle and Blood by Scarlett St. Clair has been getting a lot of views and, that has put me in the mood to read more fantasy romance. Seeing the title in my stats so often apparently makes me think about it a lot, ha! But February was the perfect time for me to start reading more Fantasy Romance.

February is FaRoFeb, and though I won’t be picking up brand new books…I’d like to read a few and keep an eye on the events they have going on. I know some booktubers are interviewing authors, or are holding reading sprints, so they could be fun to watch.

What I’ve decided to do myself is pick a few Fantasy Romance books this month and read them. I want to try and review one or two of them too, but if not, then maybe this post will at least give you some recommendations. I’m not sure what I’ll like when it comes to Fantasy Romance, so I’m not sure which I’m actually going to like, but this is going to be fun. I won’t be following any of the bingo boards on the FaRoFeb website, but there are some on there if you do want to!

Blog Tour: King of Battle And Blood by Scarlett St. Clair

Blog Tour: King of Battle And Blood by Scarlett St. Clair

I’m not exactly someone known for reading a lot of smutty romance, but when a book sounds this good. I can’t resist. I knew what I was in for when I picked this book up, and I was excited for it anyway. I was lucky enough to be sent a copy of this book thanks to the very lovely team at Black Crow PR and this tour has been put together by Random Things Tours. A big thank you to the both of them.

King of Battle and Blood is an adult fantasy romance. It follows a princess called Isolde, who when her country is entered by the vampire King, Adrian, agrees to be his wife for the sake of ending the upcoming war. She assumes she’ll fear him, but soon she’s more scared of how attracted she is to him and her growing understanding of the vampires than she is anything else.
